The original stone roof
The starting photographs show the existing stone-slate covering, chimney and adjoining flat roof. One view records standing water on the old flat roof. Reviewing both roof areas together helps establish the scope of a re-roof and the details where pitched and flat roofing meet.
Stripping back and renewing the roof deck
The progress photographs show the roof opened up to expose the timbers, followed by new timber decking beside the pitched roof. Recording these stages gives customers a clear view of work that will later be covered.
